Imaging diagnostics are carried out using low-radiation digital X-ray or three-dimensional digital volume tomography DVT. In the case of complex developmental disorders of the teeth and jaw, diagnostics with a digital volume tomograph provide a reliable basis for planning. The high-resolution DVT images offer a detailed, three-dimensional insight into the structures of the jaw and support treatment planning and treatment monitoring. Even during planning we obtain precise information about the bone situation and the neighbouring anatomical structures. Digital volume tomography enables us to produce a spatial, distortion-free and metrically exact representation.
The use of three-dimensional diagnostics has considerably expanded the examination options in orthodontics and dentistry. The causes of unclear complaints can be located and analysed better.
At the specialist practice for orthodontics in Offenbach we use 3D diagnostics in these orthodontic areas.
- for complex malformations and misaligned teeth
- for anomalies of teeth and tooth roots or disorders of tooth eruption
- for retained and displaced teeth
- for pathological bone structures (e.g. cysts)
Low-radiation diagnostic procedures are the basis for a precise treatment plan. For our patients, digital diagnostics mean the gentlest possible treatment and aesthetically high-quality results.
